Carlena Gourdine's “The Learning Institute 4 the Urban Arts.
 
Carlena “CrazyCee” Gourdine is one of the most notable female pioneer names in hip hop dance and owner of award-winning dance training/production company “CrazyCee Productions”. Our new facility catering to all, is a unique “training” facility devoted to cultivating the original four elements of hip hop with a newly incorporated 5th addition "Economic Development" (Financial Literacy). 
 
“The Learning Institute 4 the Urban Arts” is a training facility with the mission statement of gathering the masses of youth and young adults to educate them in the art form of hip hop and its culture through accurate historical reference, theory, technique, and talent. We utilize various methods of instruction in all four elements of hip hop: 
·         B-boying (dance) 
·         Mc'ing 
·         Graffiti 
·         Dj'ing

Although Ms. Gourdine's primary expertise is in our hip hop culture and proper knowledge of; she is very skilled most styles and techniques of dance from all over the world, she has developed a training program to reach the masses of miseducated and uninformed that incorporates these additional elements of hip hop culture this is not dance style it a culture. Ms. Gourdine recognizes that the strength of each element is reflective to another. This is what makes “The Learning Institute 4 Urban Arts” unique because we not only house our training facility but we have our triple threat street musical theater company implemented. 

 

CCP'S training facility reflects our passionate devotion to extending educational opportunities to our market.
The first is that of an academic training center that provides a structured learning environment to acquire the skills necessary to perform in the dance world.
