The Learning Institute 4 the Urban Arts is the East Coast's 1st exclusive, urban-based training facility & Learning Institute that bases its curriculum on the foundation of hip hop: the "4 Elements of Hip Hop Culture."

OUTSTANDING KIDS SUMMER PROGRAM

Our Learning Institute loves the kids! Our Summer Experience program is an educational & fundamental, soothing program that introduces our youth to our culture through make-believe with our innovative Street Musical Theatre experience. It's required all that all prospective students undergo a pre-screening (of parents) and a short interview with both parent and child to understand why they both should be a perfect candidate for this outstanding program. They do not need professional skill or training but comprehension and a level of respect for the instruction provided by our professionals. Our focus is to provide our students and parents with the best quality education through our unique urban art culture with our unique proper methods, techniques & 3 D'S (DISCIPLINE/DEDICATION/DETERMINATION). Each student will be trained, nurtured, guided and taught under the strict fundamental supervision of our staff and qualified team (family). Each student will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned in a fun non-competitive forum through performance in a theatre atmosphere.

DANCE SUMMER START UP INTRO PROGRAM 7YRS- 30YRS
Our Summer Program is designed as an introduction to beginners. This will ensure that each student is trained and nurtured with proper beginner technique. Our learning Institute introduces new students, 7-30 years old, to the world of urban art culture. Our Learning Institute Summer students can choose our full-time summer program of 10 classes per week (2 classes per day, Monday – Friday) or part-time program (5 classes per week).

Beginners Jazz
Scratch & Base Theory
Beginners Street Lyrical
Rhythm Theory (Finding a Groove)
Partnering Foundation
Hip Hop Basic 101
Up Rock & Top Rock Break Dance Structure
Martial Arts Fight technique.
The students participating in the full-time program also perform at the end of the month with the Academy Summer Intensive students.
